I'm wanting to start my tank up again and I want to do mollies and a Male beta. I have a 29 gallon tank and I keep finding mixed comments on weather it's a good or bad idea. What do you guys think?

I would be most worried about the mollies being too active and stressing the betta and also outcompeting him for food. You might do okay with a young, active plakat. I don't think even a plakat would be fast enough to hurt the mollies.

Its very individualized. One male betta may be fine with it, the next could be savagely killing everyone.

Id just keep a back up plan just in case for the betta :)

Personally I like the girls. They seem more active. As far as aggression it can go either way. So far I have had 25 or so. Some I gave away but it was because they were wanted not aggression issues.
