Mollie fry as a secondary food source?

ButtercuptheOranda

So I have a pretty big oranda (bigger than my fist) in a 20 gal and 2 balloon mollies in a 10 gal male and female. Well what my question is when they breed can I take a few out that I don’t want and let buttercup (oranda) chase and eat them for a snack or not. I watched a video and he said you could do it with platties so why not mollies :) thank you for the input
By the way i plan to upgrade my orandas tank soon
And another thing I am against feeder fish I’m not one of those people I just want to recycle unwanted fry essentially because I don’t want an overstocked tank

I don't see why not if the mollies are healthy. But my goldfish mostly eat a balanced pellet food. Worst comes to worse the things end up surviving.
