Mixing Sand

    thoughts on mixing black and white sand? Would it look ugly? There’s always poop on my white sand so I wanted to give up on that aesthetic and add some of the same brand black sand to my tank and mix the two together

    As long as the grain size is the same it will be fine and look great, if one grain is smaller it will eventually settle underneath the larger grain

    It’s still a work in progress! Have java fern to attach to the driftwood and need to increase both my # of Tiger barbs and Golden diamond barbs. :)
    But it’s getting there!

    It was the medium. Let me go google the exact #.
    Hmm, well I can’t aeem to find the grit #. All the TSC website says is either medium or fine. :(
