I began with 10 red cherries and 10 dark blue cherries, and had a berried (red) female give birth. When the shrimplets began to color, it became obvious that her sire was a blue shrimp. The offspring are either blue, red, or wild-type (brown), and some of them have really interesting shades!
Today I saw this tiny black shrimp. I didn't even know you /could/ get black shrimp.

Ended up adding a variety of different colors to the tank. Now there are a few black rilis, orange rilis, yellow, and orange shrimp. At least one dark sapphire blue shrimp as well.
It will be interesting to see what their shrimplets will look like!
