I have a couple of fry that survived in my tank that have obvious mixed parentage

I had a quick look through some of the not so good pics and managed to find some of the fry (i'll try for clearer tomorrow)

Younguns ~ 1 is HiFin & 1 is a normal fin

Yes. I have some mixed breeds of platy fry right now. there are three, and one looks exactly like the mom, one looks like the dad with the mom's black spots, and the other looks just like the dad!

its like breeding rabbits. Whether its a Dutch or a Flemish Giant, they'll still produce offspring (and birthing time always happens when you least expect it )
