Missing Feeler?

    Hi my Gold gourami has a missing feeler well 3/4 of one is gone.
    Will it grow back? what would cause this? There is only tetras and corys in wit it
    so it cant be them all recent tests yesterday are good as always.

    They will slowly grow back. It they were particularly long, I've heard they can "break off". Also, it could have been damaged by decor in the tank. Lastly, the tetras could have nipped it off, though I dont think neons are capable of that.

    I had a gold gourami fly out of the tank and when I rescued him and placed him back in the tank, one feeler was broken to about 1/2". Within about a month, it was all grown in!

    Scales, fins and feelers will grow back :) just like how our skin repairs itself the feelers on the gouramis will too :) I usually do a lot of water changes because the cleaner the water, the stronger the fish's immune system will be :)
