Missing African Dwarf Frog?!

... 2 days ago I added a African dwarf frog into my peaceful community aquarium. It was doing very good that day & yesterday, but this morning I could not find it!! I did not post this until now because I thought it was hiding in something, but I really don't know now. Do you know where it could have been?
1. I did check outside the tank.. Not there
2. 20 Gallon Long
3.Tank Mates
Golden Zebra Loach
Rubber Lip Pleco
3 Platys
2 Wrestling Halfbeaks
Female Guppy
2 Endlers Livebearers
Peaceful Betta (Don't Question I'm moving)
Ghost Shrimp
Mystery Snail
---
4. I have fine round gravel substrate
5. All the fish are getting along for what I've seen..

Has Anyine ever had this happen? Do you know where it might be?

P.S the frog is full black. I bought it and it said "FULLY AQUATIC DWARF FROG". It did not say African dwarf frog but that's how I interpreted it. Can African dwarf frogs be fully black and are there fully aquatic black frogs out there?

I have never seen one. Do you have any place that he could have got himself stuck, such as in an ornament, behind the filter or heater, wedged under a rock? I have no idea about the kind, Are there plants that he could have tangled himself in? Even if he is fully aquatic he still needs to come up for air, I think. Hope you find him Alison

frogs always need air, I don't think there is a type of frog that doesn't breathe air from the surface. As Aliray said, cold he have gotten stuck somewhere?

Dwarf frogs are slow swimmers that lie flat on the tank bottom. Not a good habit if there is a pleco in the tank. If you do not find him then the Pleco most likely ate him.

pleco don't eat ADFs...they eat algaes. where did u hear that? that is not true...

ADFs do not lie flat on the tank bottom... they do explore and love those plants cover, they are slow swimmers but they are still okay at swimming...

Pleco's do eat meat . I put apple snails in my tank as a treat for them every now and then. They would sick them out of the shell. They also ate sinking shrimp pellets. They also go after flat sided fish like angels. But angels can swim away. Dwarf frogs are amphibians soft skin and very flat ( like a slice of cucumber) a pleco will eat it. The majority of their diet is plant based, but given the opertunity I can see a pleco eating that frog.

You can Google "pleco eating frog"

sorry for the mistake.

but anyway a pleco is not most likely going to eat the frog(it is very rare) so stucking somewhere, out of the tank are more realistic.
