20 Gallon Tank Minor Dilemma

This tank has one male and two female guppies.

I want to take out the male and put him in a separate tank since I have so many convict fry in other tanks. Will two female guppies be enough to hold the cycle until I figure out what will be stocked in this tank?

 

:;coGood morning BB. I think the 2 should hold your cycle. Take your time with new additions so that you don't overload the good bacteria and go into a minI cycle.

Good thinking! The princess and I need to figure out if we're going to use it as a growout tank for the con babies or if she wants to put her molly, platy, and guppy fry in there or if she wants to keep two of the con babies to put in there.

The good news is that it's gonna be babies put in there. The bad news is we have so many choices of what kind of babies to go in there.

Oh that could be a grow out tank for just about anything...especially after this weekend. Make no decisions until after Sunday!!!

 

I HAVE to behave myself somewhat on Sunday. I hope, I hope. Karma and her new man, Kahn (yep, he came from you) had eggs hatch this morning More convict babies. Both tanks in my bedroom now have babies in them. Hee, hee, it's cool.

 

Congrats on your babies!!! We are going to behave, we both have to. If all else fails we will just give Tommy our bidder numbers and tell him not to give them back to us. Yep I can see it now me and you looking for a piece of paper to write that number down on so we can bid some more.

 

This oughtta be good, us trying to be the others disabler. Yep, tell Tommy to put on his "NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT" pants on Sunday. We're both gonna need it

The good thing is-I can get as many tanks as I can fit into the escape.

The other good thing is-you have lots of empty tanks if you go "just a little" overboard. However, I think the boys would get cranky with you if they have to move the tanks into the new fish room FULL as opposed to empty.
