I have a tank with sand. My fish got too excited when it saw me and now the sand was disrupted and the tank is completely cloudy. I could still see my fish but the cloudiness is there. The sand has gone all over the tank. Is my fish okay to be in there??!

Yes, it's normal. It will settle in about an hour.

Okay. Good. I was a bit worried. Since I didn't know if it would mess up its gills.

If theres that much debris that would get stirred up from that, I would suggest a water change with a sand cleaning as well. And no, the debris in the water column will not harm the fish. In the event that it goes in their mouth, they will filter it out through their gills.
