Was wondering if anyone has any opinions on a great place around middle tennessee to get fish. I live in Spring Hill and am willing to drive to a reputable store.

aquatic critter. It's in nolensville and will be a bit of a drive but they are excellent. I use them as my LFS. They have an excellent supply and have a really neat store. The staff for the most part is knowledgeable. Some of them still aren't the most informed about certain fish so I always try to get at least 2 opinions while I'm there. I also trust most of the older staff. They seem very knowledgeable. The younger folks you kind of have to be weary of.

As far as quality fish, most of my fish have come from there. The only fish I have not had success with from them are kuhlI loaches. I have ordered most of my kuhlI loaches online at Trins Fish. But other than that, their cichlids/tetras/barbs/gourami's etc are all great. They also have a decent plant selection if you are looking for that as well as a cold water section. A lot of their business is saltwater and ponds too so they don't have an ENORMOUS selection like a lot of dedicated Freshwater stores do but if they don't have something you are looking for, ask one of the older guys if they can order something for you. I can't think of the guy's name but one guy does most of the ordering. Skinny, younger, shaved head. He's helped me many times. Also there is a short guy with a beard that has helped me with orders many times in the past. (need to do a better job of learning their names)

I live in West Tennessee. Too bad that is WAY to far away for me.

I'm visiting Tennessee right now for the first time and of course hit some fish store and it was pretty cool. I'm visiting the aquarium in Gatlinburg, has not much to do with the post but I'm excited

2nd vote for Aquatic Critter.
Haven't been there in a year or two but if it hasn't changed since then it's well worth a visit.
Clean tanks, healthy and wide variety of fish. Lots to oooh and ahh over.
tyguy7760 is there one in Nolensville?
The one in Nashville is on Nolensville Road.

That's the one. I forget Nolensville is its own city and not just an area in Nashville

I've heard good things about aquatic critter, but I haven't been there. I've been to a pet store in Mboro with some very knowledgeable employees in the fish section. The store is small and limited in selection, but it's a step above Petsmart and Petco in knowledge and tank cleanliness, I think. Animal City

Yeah animal city isn't too bad. They are much better now than they used to be. They used to have some of the dirtiest tanks and unhealthy looking fish. They've since upgraded their systems and it is much better. I've never actually bought a fish from them though. No real reason
