Micro Bubbles Or Dust?

I set up a 75 gallon tank yesterday and I’m having issues with micro bubbles and/or dust. The filtration system is the Marineland Magniflow 360 canister filter.

I initially thought the filter was spitting micro bubbles, but now I’m wondering if it’s dust particles of some sort (from the bio media?). Here’s what I think my options are. . .
1. Give the filter time to break in.
2. Replace the stock plastic clamps connecting the intake to the hose with stainless steel clamps.
3. Replace the ceramic ring bio media.
4. Add some foam or water polishing filtration to the canister.

Any thoughts or additional ideas?

Micro bubbles..
They may settle out or be from a leak in your cannister lines or something ??

IMO, I looks like its part of the filter material. They seem to be slivers of something, rather than particles.

Anytime I have set up a tank whether it's new or used that's been sitting for some time without water in it I have had micro bubbles. Also with a brand new filter you can get some, double check the clamps on the hose. I have had good luck with taking a pair of pliers and squeezing the clamp one last time to the next available notch after installing them by hand. If you didn't rinse the filter media prior to use then it maybe some dust from the ceramic rings.

Sorry, but the sliver looking things are a result of the picture. They actually look like very small dust particles. See my response to max h below.

I’m going to work on the clamps this afternoon. I rinsed all the filter media well before starting it up.

Thanks for the responses FishGuy99 and max h!

Keep the thoughts and ideas coming. . . The bubbles (or whatever) are irritating!
