Mexican Dwarf Crayfish being aggressive

So I have read on every site with information that this was a peaceful community crayfish, he won't get large and won't bother anyone.
Well I put him in a small tank to get him acclimated to my water along with a new rubber pleco (about 1" long"). The crayfish kept following the pleco around and finally got a claw on him and rode on him for about 5 seconds. The pleco appears uninjured but I am wondering if he will behave like this towards my more fragile fish?
Anyone with experience with these crayfish?

I don't have experience with them, but he may just be an aggressive one.

Keeping crayfish of any kind with other fish is a gamble. Even the Dwarfs unfortunately...

Hmm, mine is pretty passive, other than flashing his claws if he wants food and someone is trying to take it. He could just be settling in and finding a territory he wants.

Will probably try and add him in with everyone else in the 37g
Hopefully he'll find a territory and stick to it, QT might just be a bit cramped for him.

Just make sure he has some great hiding spots that no one else can get at him when he molts!

I think I'm only worried about him messing with my KuhlI Loaches, they all 3 stay under a piece of driftwood throughout the day and think he may find them and try and pick at them, I have absolutely no doubt that they would easily escape him while they're awake but not sure of their reaction times while asleep, which is mostly all day until the lights go out.

The hiding spots and molting is a very important point. Just don't get any fish that are aggressive or eat inverts. The CPO itself has such tiny claws that it really shouldn't hurt anything except possibly an occasional fry. I have the tiniest of nano fish and he hasn't touched any of them. Plus the cray may be quick, but most fish will be faster.

There's plenty of spots already and a lot of plant coverage, my GBR and Kuhlis need hiding spots as well so there's plenty for him to find, I added him and he hasn't seemed to mess with anyone or vice versa, hopefully all will be well, will be keeping a close eye

I had Orange dwarfs that killed three of my neon tetras. I found one tetra as I awoke one morning missing its entire tail, bleeding and in shock. It was horrible. I would never put these Crays with fish.

Well it's been a few weeks and he only messes with something that goes into his current hiding spot just being territorial, he doesn't seem to hunt down anything, I keep him pretty well fed.
Sorry to hear about your neons! Must've just been an aggressive one, every creature has their own personality.
