Method of stocking 55 Gallon

Setting up my first 55 gallon cichlid tank and decided to go mbunas currently I’d like to stock
X4 rusty
X4 purple acei
X4 red top hongi
X4 yellow labs
X4 red or cobalt zebras
My question here is how do I go about stocking these guys, I see a lot of people say stock all or half at a time but stocking all in one go is kinda difficult seems as I’m finding difficulty finding all of my selections through one source, if I decide to do half of the stocking what should I add to the tank first?

I had a 55 gallon african cichlid tank just a week or two ago leak and I had water everywhere I was going to have a very similar stocking of fish with 10-15 African cichlids all mbunas.

I planned to do around 3 species adding around 4 of each species, every week or two.

I see and read about a lot of people doing about 16-20 I just want the variety and different colors and personalities. Did the tank leak due to age of seals or something else?

I had put a new silicone seal on it and water tested it for a week and all was fine then for some reason a few hours after filling inside my house it just leaked....

Let’s not stray too far off topic please, remember this is about Koolaidman‘s stocking questions.

I wrote it somewhere else - the tank is not big enough (dimensions, not volume) to keep any Mbuna in appropriate conditions outside a breeding/fishroom setting.

And I hate to thow my experience in the ring, this comes from someone who has kept and bred these fish for a decade.
