Anyone using the mesh breeder traps for livebearers or fish isolation??
I have found some online but generally they don't give the dimensions.
Looking for a large one...anymore ideas?

Oh Shawnie shoppers know where everything is. But I need a larger one. I think...maybe get 2 and caulk them together with a large hole between them. It will be for a mouthbrooder holding eggs and fry....they just need peace and quiet. I think a large trap with Java Moss will do the trick. Then I wont have to put him in another tank and risk that he swallows the babies!!!!!

I made one out of Craft mesh and fishing line. Someone on FL used PVC pipes to make it float (which I thought was really neat) but mine is just attached by the metal clips that come with aquarium dividers.

Went to Petco....nothin great...but I must confess, and turned my back, and said no...walked out. Nice red crowntail...kept swimming around the bowl as I walked back and forth flaring at, no, no!!! sry!

I'm thinking of getting a perfect sized plastic container from WalX store, and, cut out the bottom and a nice opening on each side, then stretch panty hose over it...should give me a solid frame and good water exchange too.
