Merge tanks - what should i do ?

I have 2 40 gallons up and running and a newly acquired 53 gallon I can only keep 2 tanks running what should I keep the 40s and sell the 55, keep 1 40 and sell the other set up thew 45? set up the 55 sell the 40s and try to get something else?

I'd keep a 55 and and a 40, personally (and please try to keep your numbers straight - at one point you're calling it a 53, then a 55, then a 45. XD)
If your 40g's are cycled you can use filter media and substrate to really help get your new one cycled.

 

lol opps on the #s the one is marketed as a 55 but then its only a 53.5 when I did the math ,.. the 40 is a 38.8something,.. the only reason I'm thinking about it is the 40s are on a pretty little rack and it looks nice feel it would look odd with one empty

 

Maybe you could make a terrarium out of it

 

Are you sure you can keep only 2 tanks ? The more the merrier !
