What I want to know is why there aren’t many in California, I feel all lonely up here in the Bay Area!
Same except Minnesota

The traffic up here isn’t too bad. Although 101 can be a nightmare if you get caught in rush hour!
It depends on the time of day, like the 14 is pretty good at 10-11, but at 4-5 is chaotic

It sounds familiar. I might have been there. I actually lived in Galveston at an apartment complex called The Village By The Sea with my ex, whom I was quite serious with at the time—which was the reason I moved down south in the first place, after I got out of the army. I loved being by the beach, and the food around the island was good. Plus, Houston wasn’t that far, and I enjoy driving and exploring new places. Those were memorable times. When I think back on it, that was my fork on the road: stay, get married, and have kids, or throw it all away for something new. No regrets.

We fished a lot out of Galveston, I like the island a lot. I don't think my brother did he spent an afternoon in the county hotel there, got in a little trouble at a beach party there.

Rush hour to me is 10 cars at a stop light or at the gate for base.

Oh yes, I loved fishing there. If I remember correctly, there are two piers. I fished mainly the 61st st. pier. I also fished the many jetties along the beach, mainly in the early morning or late evenings. I’ve seen some big Red Drum and Speckled Trout caught there, not to mention the various shark species.

Yeah, I partied a lot too. I used to work at that Waffle House on the island, lol.

We had a boat so we fished all over the bay and offshore. That poor little 18ft Glastron boat made more then one trip 30 miles offshore to the Buccaneer Rigs with another boat.

Oh my gosh! There are like 50,000 people moving to Colorado every year. You literally can't drive anywhere on the weekends. Horrible. I'm trying to get my folks to move to France. You can get a really nice house there for like €100.000 (that's about $115,00)

Yeah, one of my aunts lives in Denver and she talks about how bad the traffic is sometimes. France would be cool, although I would want to live somewhere like New Zealand or Sweden.

I’d like to meet jenmur Discus-Tang bizaliz3 RainBetta Dave125g Lchi87 and a ton of others that I’m not going to list right now otherwise my post would be far too long! I’ve kinda met AJE but not really. I’ve also never met anyone on this forum in person, since I’ve never met anyone who lives in the San Francisco area.

SirI and I are not getting along. So I’m just going to say I have met several people from fishlore. I would love to meet most of y’all. Everywhere I want to visit, y’all decide to move. Getting to feel quite personal. Like you’re running from me.

I just can’t get SirI to do the at symbol. Ugh!

That's cool! Nice is a nice place. If you like the mountains, you should check out the Jura region. Loads of mountains, forests and lakes, you might like it

I wonder where all the Kansans went...

In my neck of the woods all of the fishkeepers are really solitary. Some dude has a 3,000 G saltwater tank somewhere in Derby. No aquarium clubs and only one lfs for miles. Really not fun being in Kansas.

Here's a bit about myself: I'm 13, I'd like to say that I'm pretty well into the hobby as I'm about to get my 9th tank after I move. My biggest tank will be 75G. I live in Kansas (obviously). Probably the most interesting thing about me is that my family is from Chile. Sadly, Chile is right under all the cool tropical fish. All murky waters with catfish and trout. I've visited Chile a lot, I've also gone to Peru. Not the nature part though. I really wanted to go see what a wild Green Terror looks like!

I'd like to meet, well, everyone here. Especially all you fishlorians from Wichita, Kansas!

From Ohio as well, work in Westerville. My wife is ok with the fish since it helps the kids calm down and they look nice. Also nice to have some sort of pet to take care of with the 5 year old.

Seems there are a pretty good selection of stores in Columbus compared to other places. I've checked out 3 stores in the past month since getting a 75 gallon tank again.
