Meet Floyd!

Here are a few pics of Floyd. As you can see, his fins are fully developed. He's still about half the size of Dante, who has grown so much in the time I've had him. My LFS frequently has young unsexed bettas for sale, and if you go there when the fish manager is working, he can pick out the males extremely well. (Floyd was one of his favorites, but he decided to keep an all black male twin tail for his exibit tank.)
Anyway........ sorry the pics are blurry, but he did sort of pose for the camera!!
(in the second one you can see the ADF in the background....)

 

He is stunning! His fins are looking "cellophane" with the spots, is that maybe the case or just the way the photo looks? Floyd you are going to be a heartbreaker and the star of the tank for sure.

Thank you for your compliments!!  I'm a little sad that the pics are so darn blurry!!!  You can't tell, but he has turquoise at the base of his fins, and his body is getting a turquoise sheen to it.
Yes, his fins are kind of a pinkish "cellophane".....  and the pink splashes are almost "hot" pink.
He's already becoming friendly, and learning his feeding schedule.  I think his personality is very like Fred's was.  Maybe that hole in me is finally going to be filled......

  Thank you...............  I need to get a really high-speed camera with all the works so I can capture the beauty of some of these fish............ the little things escape the lens.

LOL yeah they will do that. Just wait til they figure out they are the star of the show and you won't be able to keep them out of the lens. hehehehe I have a bunch of hams at my house. I do love Floyd's coloring though.
