I feed them algae wafers, which they LOOOVE, bottom feeder tablets, and peas and frozen bloodworms every few days. What other meaty foods should I feed them? If I need to prepare them, how do I? Also, am I giving them enough vegetable matter?

They don't require a ton of plant matter in their diet but some will never hurt. I feed mine mainly a balanced sinking pellet of a mix of meat and veggie (NLS sinking pellets) and omega one shrimp pellets. They seem to like the shrimp pellets better.

Ok. Is there any benefit in feeding them live food like snails and stuff? If there is, can you like, breed snails? If so, how??

I doubt they would eat snails. But things like frozen daphnia and blood worms would be appreciated. I don't think it's a must though

Never mind, I'm thinking of clown loaches that eat snails. So am I good just feeding them what I am?

Are the bottom feeder tablets primarily protein? They need a strong staple of protein as in the wild they are micropredators. Mine get that from the omega one shrimp pellets

This is what I use. It has a loach on the front. It says that it's 35 percent crude protein if that's what you mean. It definitely smells like shrimp/fish and a lot of the ingredients are like fish meal and shrimp meal and fish oil and stuff.

That would probably be ok but I also suggest switching to a more trusted brand like omega one or nls once you run out
