Marking eggs

So my female green cheek conure is laying her first clutch of eggs. I personally think they are too young to be parents (I also have a male) but she's going to freak out if I steal all her eggs. So my plan is to take one at a time freeze it or something and give it back.
Would it hurt her if I use a marker or something to mark which eggs I've "dealt" with?

Probably be OK as long as it isn't one of the heavy fumed ones. Definitely would stay away from the fat sharpies especially.

Ok I have some ultra thin ones
Secondary question, how do I prevent the fertilized eggs from hatching? Google is super unhelpful.

Can't help you there. Haven't kept birds yet...though my wife keeps trying

You could empty them without cracking them simply, and give them back. There’s a way to do it, I’m sure if you google it you’ll find it.

The only concern with that is she's not the most gentle with them, I'm afraid she might crack them.
It's a shame I can't find fake eggs that either deliver to canada or aren't ridiculously priced.

So I've been taking one out at a time and freezing them for 12hrs each (hopefully long enough). Unfortunately one of the eggs cracked in the freezer so she went from 3 eggs to 2.
They are not happy with the eggs being stolen but I don't want them to breed.
