    It's too bad they grow really slowly. I do have a tank that I keep marimo balls in. It's a 40b (although considering a 20L) with sand substrate, some shrimp and nerite/mystery snails, and a wavemaker.

    I always thought that would make a really cool tank!

    Very interesting and, yes, sad too. I have 7 of them, though two of them are coming apart.

    I really want a shallow tank with a wavemaker. I want to figure out the best conditions for fast(er) growth.
