marilands 350 powerfilter

I was having my doubts but I love it! This is by far the best powerfilter I owned.

PROS: It super quiet and its efficiency is great.
2 bio wheels are in it and it can hold 4 media cartridges.
Has 2 parts that suck out gunk. 1 on the top of and the head that's on the bottom.

CONS: The face slips off a bit but that's the only con for me.

I give it 5/5

Marineland makes many good products, glad this was a good one for you.
I deleted the post in reviews, there wasn't anything there

Thank you. I accidently put this thread in there and moved it. I also forgot to mention that this 350 powerfilter does up to 75 gal tanks. The filter cartridges are color coded so you won't have to guess which size to get.

I'm going to be using the same filter for my 55gal that's cycling..I have a ? what slots did you use to put the filters in the first or the second do you think it matters.....and does make water driping noises ...if I stop the bio wheels the noise stops...I was jw....I hope it works as good for me as it did for you

My Penguin 100B makes the water dripping noise when the level in the tank drops below the bottom of the outlet on the filter. I kinda like it -- adds a sort of water fountain ambiance to the room. But adding water to the tank usually tones it down for a while.
