Oh! I cannot sing their praises enough, so I got way more than I ordered for everything. Everything arrived in great shape and is healthy (Except for the guppy grass, which was healthy when I got it so I figure it's my water) I got my plants on time. It is the cheapest place by far that I have seen to get plants. And I had a TON, and I mean a TON of questions for him and he answered every single one and was quick to respond given how big the company is. He is so friendly, they are my best pick by far.

You know where they are based out of? Just a random curiosity.

I agree with everything SouthAmericanCichlids said! They are my go-to place and I just love them. Along with low prices, Marcus also gives large, healthy plants and often includes extras with your order. 11/10

Lol I never ended up using the plants I bought from them but they had great costumer service and shipped everything quickly! I did buy a coin leaf anubias (i THINK that’s what it was called) and the leaves were very small, much smaller than the description so I think so I’m pretty sure they either sent me a very young plant or the wrong plant. But overall I had a great experience buying from them!

I just saw the shipping prices on MarcusFIshTanks.com and I'm amazed! Is this really a good website? And if it's not a scam, are the plants good quality? I know people have talked about this website, but this is just out of this world compared to aquaticarts.com and liveaquaria.com. If this site is real, all I can say is hallelujah, I can save money!

This site is legit and I highly recommend it. I know others like AcornTheBetta can back me up too. You also get a few bonus plants as well when ordering. 99% if the plants I have come from here and they are all high quality

I’ve bought twice so far, plan on buying more in the future. Plants are great quality and their fertilizer works very well!

Lol, Acorn is probably responsible for half of their sales.

Yeah, they’re a pretty great site.

Mine just shipped! Or well, the label was made. It hasn't physically been sent off yet... Ordered it late on March 17th, or very early on March 18th. I can't quite remember, it was one of those late night purchases.

Shipping is free over 50 bucks. Not like it matters much being 5 dollars. And the code 10off gives 10% off your whole order.

Hi everyone!
After receiving such excellent quality plants from Marcus Fish Tank I wanted to spread the good word! Customer service is top quality, and all the plants I received are either thriving or were thriving and became a snack! All the plants came snail free as well!
They are having a massive sale right now, I’m talking like half off majority plant stock! If anyone is looking for plants right now, check it out!
Live Aquarium Plants
I’ve included some photos from my tanks of their product as well. I didn’t include the Christmas Moss and myrophyllum I ordered because: the Moss is still adjusting, slowly but its coming around... the myrophyllum got made into a tasty snack before I was able to take a picture of the vigorous growth it was showing!
oh well time to order more :3

Due to this forum and folks' experiences I also ordered last week. Seemed they already (always?) had some sort of sales going on. I like the fact shipping is way less than when ordering from the other place. This purchase will conclude my scape for now and the foreseeable future.

That’s what I said then my fish ate my myriophyllum so here we are! Lol

I also ended up ordering last week due to a post that had been posted around that time. My order just now got the shipping label made! I'm so excited.
I may have splurged a bit too much due to the sale.

Trust me i get that. I won’t even lie I contemplated picking up this nano anubis for cultivation but decided against it. I have Echindorus Aflame Knight Swords growing right now that I’m ecstatic about so I’ll let that be my project for now.

Right? Absolutely craziness for an aquarium plant.

For what it's worth, I cannot say I'm happy with my first ever order from this business. Mostly dead matter arrived inside the package. I'm in the process of saving some parts of each plant here and there and see if they thrive again. The package was shipped fast and arrived precisely on time. It might be that it lacked insulation or plants were packed too tightly inside the bags with hardly any water, I have no idea.

Now, I did not contact the business because I was not interested in getting replacements and needed to act quickly. I hope my efforts will pay off in the long run, but I received consistently superb quality from a different vendor although their packages take longer to arrive. Call me spoiled by them, but this experience tells me not to buy from anywhere else online. And my local petco. Their standard fair of plants seem good enough quality.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that!

I was thankfully happy with my first ever order from them which arrived last week. I don't think there was any particularly cold weather along the route though, so lack of insulation was okay in my case. Java ferns, crypts, buce, and Hydrocoytle tripartita all arrived without issue here.

Insulation should also protect from warm/hot weather.

Good point. I suppose I should have stated that there weren't temperature extremes in either direction.

I've never ordered from them, but everything I've heard indicates they're a good company. If you had contacted them I think it's likely they would have tried to make it right.

As far as your part about them being packed with hardly any water, that's customary when shipping plants. Plants only need to stay damp while in transit, they don't need to be submerged. When I ship them I typically just put a wet paper towel in the bag with them.
