I herd that they do good in a community tank don't eat there own young but I can't find anything about there compatibility with plants,,... any one have any experience/info ? :;pirate

Alright it seems they do not do well with plants they cut and uproot them frequently BUT do very well in aquariums with fake plants if that's what you want

sadly no lol well bare tank it is fore them or perhaps just floating plants

If you are determined to have a plant, you could try a thicker plant like a bamboo plant and place some larger rocks around the base of it to prevent that sort of thing from happening

Yea, that should work just fine. And I don't even know how concerned I would be about that with its leaves being above the water. I would think that as long as the leaves are near the top it would be fine, but you may want to watch if you do that
