Keywords being well run reef LOADED with pods. These fish are voracious but very, very picky eaters, and for this reason, they are not recommended for young or small reef tanks... in which cases the entire pod population are easily decimated by a single mandarin dragonette and that fish then starves. Even those mandis that are sold by retailers which have them eating prepared foods can revert back to wild behavior with the sudden change in environment (like, moving to our tanks.) I don't mean to sound harsh but I do really love these fish... and lost one to my own ignorance/starvation many, many years ago. If this is your dream fish, please do lots and lots of research and be prepared to do what it takes to feed it TONS of live pods if that's all it will eat.
