Good pictures, but...EWW! Spiders are not my friends.
Thank you Lilibeth_Seasong I am rather fond of them. But prefer to not touch them.

Thank you Pongo

Spiders are indeed real nightmare creatures.

This is a high mag shot of a small jumping spider. It is less than 1/8" in size.

Awesome shots! I love spiders ;D

...but the only ones I'd even think about touching would be jumpers. They're fuzzy and cute. The others are kinda creepy... but still beautiful most of them.

Very unique. Its cool and different you keep spiders as pets. And the quality of the pictures are excellent. Where did you get them Lol? I was planning on keeping some insects too but I dont know what kind and I'm afraid if them getting out and infesting my house lol. Dont let the babies out, you don't want a case of arachnid phobia lol.

Jumpers are my favorite, but their tiny size requires a lot of effort, and the fact that they have the habit of jumping on the front of the lens does not help …But it is well worth it. Here is a little jumper playing peek-a-boo in the flower of a wild onion.

Actually these are not pets. The orb weavers are in the garage, and the jumpers were from the Collage and a park. We keep a spider friendly house. One night I was woken up by a gentle tapping on my chest, I reached over, turned on the light, and found a rather large spider sitting there. I re-homed it to the outside. Spiders occupy a special place for us. The dream catcher was a gift to the two legged people from Grandmother spider.

'shivers' I have a bad case of erachniphobia (fear of spiders). They freak me out like crazy.

I am just glad they don't come in the size of a Great Dane.

I revisited the family of orb weavers. Papa was nowhere to be seen. I assume he was lunch. I switched to the MP-E65 and set it to 4:1 so the magnification roughly 100 to 1

1. Egg sack one.

2. Egg sack two.

3. Mama going for a walk. I had the flash set a bit too hot in this shot.

4. Mama checking me out.

5. Putting the finishing touches on egg sack number three. I am going to be up to my arm pits in spiders.
