    I have a 45 gallon tank with:
    10 harlequins
    12 male guppies
    4 male molly fry
    3 fully grown male mollies

The molly fry seem to all be chasing one of the fully grown male mollies.... I know the ratio is meant to be 3:1 or 2:1 but i am trying to prevent breeding by separating the boys and the girls. Is there anything else i can do to stop the bullying? Or is the only option to put in girls, i have 20-40 mollies, 2 fully grown and 7 nearly fully grown that could come out of my other 55 gallon, and then loads of fry, but I dont really want loads of pregnant mollies.....

Can someone please advise. The older male mollies really aren't happy...

Maybe you could try to move some decorations around.
Sometimes it’s as simple as that with these kinds of things, sometimes not.

I would take out the problem Molly, do a large WC, move the decor around like @Puck44 said, and place the molly back.

This is so the molly thinks it’s a new tank.

Thank you guys, I done this yesterday, but it didn't help for all of the fry, only 2, I have just given my friend a 55g with 8 female mollies so am going to give her 2 boys as well to make the bullying a lot more fair, then only 2 on 1 instead of 4 on 1. Hopefully that will stop my older molly being so stressed
