Hello again everyone!
I have a 25 gallon tank with
10 harlequins
6 male guppies
6 corydoras
3 ottos
2 fully grown female mollies
3 female molly fry (5 mts old approx)
2 male molly fry (one of them is deffo 5 mts old but I bought one from a pet shop so am not sure exactly how old he is)
Anyway, one of my black male molly fry (not so much fry anymore but still a juvinile) has been chasing the females, which I know is normal behaviour and they have been okay, not really bothered by it, but now, my dalmation male molly fry who was never bothered by the black molly is now really fighting with him. They swim in circles attacking each other.... this only started last night, and when I turned off the lights it stopped. However, since this happened, my black molly has been hiding in the trees, with his tail in a downward way and I'm scared that they have really hurt each other. I have another 40 litre to move him to, which just has female guppies and their fry in, and also the fry that was dropped from one of the female mollies in the 25g, but I don't really want the tank to be overrun with more pregnant guppies....
I have a 55 gallon that is going to be set up in around 4 months when I move but I don't know what to do for the time being. I'm sure it is just the dalmation molly wanting to be the dominant male in the tank but I don't want them to end up killing each other.....
I also have a betta tank which is 6 gallons with him just in there, but I don't think I should move him to there either.....
Can someone please HELP.....
I don't know what the best option is?
