Male guppy has black spots all of a sudden

one of my male guppies has black spots on his side, I’ve never seen them there before and idk if I should be worried. They’re pretty big and not symmetrical. I read on here that it’s just their color coming in but I’m not sure how old he is - I bought him at my lfs a little more than a month ago (sept. 1) and he was a little smaller than he is now.
TIA
(sorry about the terrible picture quality)

Its partial spot marking found on cobra/snake skin guppys from their mixed ancestry with the endler guppy. Markings will not always be symmetrical and can be partial/missing in places, other than this he looks chubby and healthy with good colouring. He is just a cheaper mixed guppy, often hardier than their 'perfect' expensive counterparts.

Great thank you! His markings are sooo weird... one day they’re there then one day they’re not, one day his tail’s yellow then one day it’s bluish, is that normal lol?

I'd say as long as he's active, eating and not behaving strange. It is normal for him lol
He looks like he's just freshly reached adulthood so his pattern changes should stabilize this month.
Guppies (like most fish) have multiple 'layers' of cells containing colour pigment. Different spectrums of light will allow one to shine through more than others. If you have natural light reaching the tank, the different times of day/weather will change his colours slightly.
You also have light substrate, which reflects light making him look paler, and he will appear darker when he's near plants/wood etc.
This also explains his tail too, which is a beautiful white pattern but this also means the tones from his other layers of skin/scales can shine over it with ease giving it that 'tint' in certain light.

got it! Thanks! He was pretty ugly when I first bought him but he’s turning out to be really pretty! He has little orange splotches on his body and a huge tail now. His “brother” I got at the same time was prettier than him when I first got him but he’s less pretty now hahaha
