I’m returning to the honey after about 20 years thanks to my 9 year old son, he has a 15 gallon tank which currently has 5 male guppies and 6 cardinal tetra in it.
The other day at out LFS he spotted a dwarf gourami and would really love to add one to his tank but after doing some research i’m worried that it would not be a good idea for the guppies?
Any advice gratefully received, as the last time I had a tank I had live bearers and a few Cories!
(Forgot how addictive the hobby is though - just purchased my own 29 gallon so I can have fish I like too!):D:;banana1

    Welcome to fishlore!
Yes, that should work. Just monitor to see if there is any aggression from the DG. It should be OK though.

Thank you, he’ll be sooo happy! I’ll wait until I’ve got my tank up and cycled to get one for him and then if there are any issues I’ll have a back up plan :emoji_grinning:
