Should I be worried about MTS digging up my root tabs out of my 3"+ sand substrate? I'm using OsmocoteDIY root tabs and I've read horror stories pertaining to Nitrates about them when they get dug up out of the substrate to the surface...

I have several dozen mts in 4 of my tanks. I use seachem root tabs. I've never had a problem with them digging up the tabs.
I've dug up one on occasion when I was doing a wc, but (imho) if the filtration is good and you dose with prime, then there's nothing to worry about.
