Making the big decision to let fish go

I am a year plus now into the hobby deeply anyway, and I have come to the conclusion that while it may work kind of my community tank is not set up in a really great way. I have fish from all over and two many large ones. The Gourami fish will 100% stay its her tank.

As I have space concerns else where I’m consider removing to LFS .., ugh hate that.

5 zig zag 1 male 4 female
3 mixed Australian

that would leave
1 gourami
1 rainbow shark
1 Raphael catfish
and some (7 ithink) red phantom tetras that I’d consider swapping with my pearl danios (6) - i believe that would make all but catfish SE Asia fish if not exact same habitats.

in my other rainbow tank 9 Bosimani will stay.
Pair of yellows … ugh to LFS
that leaves the 9 plus 6 green corydoras

I have three more mut spawn in with the danios that would eventually go as well.

I have 10 millennium red baby rainbows that I believe may be a 6/4 ratio male to female so if that stays true I will keep 6 the females and two males.

anyone with thoughts or input I, just at wits end ..

it’s sad to say but I think the quality of life for the rest will be much better, i can’t really expect to feel great about it but I really think it needs to be done.

edit tank sizes and such are in y signature link but happy ro answer any questions if it help in giving thoughts.

What tanks ?
Tank is a general term that could be from 2 gal to 300 gal etc... plants ?

Your call on what's best and your decisions obviously.

I would go with what your proposing.
I don't iden this species but.. watching a over stocked tank is stressful rather than peaceful.

I hope that will allow you to enjoy your tank more.

Thanks … just going to be a project getting them all out, and then to stomach taking them to LFS that I have zero confidence in.

1 75 gallon and I’d be set right. ? haha no room apartment is over full on tanks.

PS I did some of that speech to text so some crazy fish spellings …

You seem to suffer from the mts.
Good luck

Yes early on especially with rainbows I wanted different kinds but then needed proper school size.. i Like having lots of tanks just a couple big decisions to make to keep enjoying them.
