Making My Fishes Comfortable?

So I'm getting RCS and Albino Cories. I currently have a 20 gal Long with 8 Glowlight tetras, and I plan on getting around 4-6 more just to have some more comfort!

I have an asian gazebo decoration, 7.5 inches tall and with a base of 5.25 inches by 6 inches.
I also have a large 2 inch by 4 inch shrimp tube in between two rocks.
Lastly I have 3 medium sized Lava rocks, one being around 4 inches tall, and 7 inches wide. The other two are both around 6 inches tall, 6 inches wide.

I also have a small freshly propagated section in the center of the aquarium, from foreground to background, of S. Repens.
On the lefthand corner I have a few scrappy and settling Water wisteria branches.

With duckweed growing above, and a small feeder ring around my strong flowing Aquaclear 30, how can I make my fishes and inverts as comfortable as possible with aquascaping? Should I use a long flat lava rock and rest it atop the two lava rocks I have near a shrimp tube to make a tent like cave for them????

Please help!

Looks nice! I use lava rocks for caves too, I added some java moss on top and the shrimp love it. Cholla wood is also great for shrimplets to hide in as well. Maybe even float some hornwort, just trim regularly any browning pieces or you get fallen needles.
