Maintenance

Anyone have a safe way to remove calcium lines from a tank? For my heater I simply removed it to clean. However, since it's on the tank, I am drawing a blank. Can I just scrape it off into the water and vacuum it up?

Yep, that'll work. It's not toxic to your fish; hard water is pretty common across the US, and I keep my fish in calcium filled tap water. You can also try a 50/50 vinegar and water solution to break down the really tough spots.
