Magus C6 Protein Skimmer setup

Hello Everyone and greetings!
I'm currently rebuilding a reef tank that I had sitting in the attic for 7 plus years, and I was in need of a skimmer, so I bought the only one I could find, the Magus C6, I've been having issues setting it up and having it work, any guides or knowledge out there about it? I can only find youtube videos of prior versions that do not appear like my skimmer at all, so I can't follow them.

I was used to a Hydor Skimmer really easy to use. But I haven't found it yet.
Any help will be much appreciated.

I maintain quite a few magus skimmers at work. Could you post a pic of yours just for reference of what one you have and where its placed?

What are you having trouble with?

Basically the air line inlet part needs to be clear of the water level. The outlet bubble making part clips under the lower tube housing. The bubbles then rise up into the top collection cup. There should be an adjusting knob to set how fast the cup fills. Overall water level is important in the sump. To high a level and the skimmer will just overflow constantly.
