60 Gallon Tank Lowering PH from 7.8 to 7

Hello, I have a 60gal cube that I've been cycling for about a month and a half and am planning to put a little group of discus in it. The issue is that the water is about 7.8 and I'd prefer it to be a bit lower at around ~6.8 - 7. I know discus have been kept in harder water but I just want to make sure there as comfortable as possible. I've tried lowering the PH by boiling leaves and adding wood to the tank, but so far it doesn't seem to have done much except give the tank a nice orange tint. I'd rather not use chemicals, but I'm not opposed to them, I just kind of like the feeling of the tank being 100% natural (even if that's not technically true). Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I think the only way would be remineralized RO water having high pH myself. Nothing natural really lowers it much.

Dont bother because having it a bit high all the time is better than having it fluctuate every water change.

Normally I'd agree with you, but maybe not for discus.

I live in a city where the water is like Lake Malawi in a dry year and people keep Discus.
