I'm cycling a ten gallon betta tank and I was wondering if there would be some low maintenance plants that bettas like, any ideas? I have gravel and my PH is 7.2
Thanks so much!

Anubias is a good choice, just make sure you have lighting suitable for aquatic plants.

What lighting would be needed? Sorry I'm a noob.

Pretty much a normal bulb on a hood would be fine, although the anubias plant would grow slower

My aquarium has 2 light bulbs 15 watts or less. (not sure exactly, I got it used.) Would that be enough for most plants?

Yep, anubias usually only need about 2 watts per gallon of water.

Both the Anubias and Java Fern are easy low light plants to grow with almost any light source.

Those will probably both be added now.

With both the Java Fern and Anubias don't bury the Rhizome in the substrate it can rot. Attach it to a piece of driftwood decoration with thread or a gel super glue.

Thanks, I'll be sure to thoroughly research it.
