Lots of snails/ snail trouble

So I put a pond snail and a rams horn in my tank and that turned into about 100+ in my 10 gal (more like 50ish) well my 3 mystery snails laid eggs and one clutch hatched and there so tiny and cute how do I ”starve“ or kill the other snails without killing the mystery snails. I cannot take the mystery’s out because the pond and rams horns attach themselves to the mystery’s shells so they’d just spread to my other tanks. Any suggestions my tanks starting to smell really really earthy I do water changes a lot and yes it’s cycled
AND there’s gnats in the tank like not in the water but above it

My only thought is time consuming. Put slices of veggies in and pick the ones off you don't want to keep.
