Lots of bubbles on surface of aquarium

New to this hobby. Started this a week ago and didn't notice much bubbles back then. However I'm wondering if my air pump is producing too much bubbles on the surface and why isn't it getting dissolved? Due to this issue I did a 25% water change yesterday. The water seems clear only food particles were siphoned. I've been testing the water levels and it seems pretty ok no chlorine, no nitrites/nitrate, ammonia. Even after the 25% water change the bubbles still continue on the surface water. Is it my filter or should I change my air pump? Is too much bubbles on the surface harmful to my fish?

Also, I haven't put any medications inside the tank. All my plants are artificial. Can it be the fish food?

Go to petsmart, petco or other pet store, should be able to get a valve to control the amount of air flow. Usually can be had for $2 or less.

Ok just checking. I would say the air is up too much then. Air control valves are super cheap. Work great. They will be by the air pumps and stones at the pet store.

That is not from too much air. Even with heavy aeration the bubbles do not last more than a few seconds. That is organics in the water, possibly from excess food. You mentioned siphoning water with food particles in it. If the fish are not eating all the food within 15 minutes, you are putting in too much. If you stop the aeration altogether, you might notice an oily film on the surface. This is what makes the bubbles persist like soap bubbles.
