Lost Snail

HI guys, first post on here

I have 3 different kinds of snails in my tank, a rabbit, a ramshorn, and a black racer nerite. I just added the nerite 2 days ago. And now I can't find him. I have a lid on my tank, so he couldn't have escaped. I have checked under all of my decor, in my plants, and in and around my filter. I have given it a day, and I'm still not sure where he is.
So, my question is, is there something I can put in the tank to attract him? I'm really not sure what else to do, or where he possibly could have gone. This sounds crazy, but I'm worried because my other 2 snails are always out and about.
Thank you in advance for any advice/help.

They are ninjas I swear. They will burrow under the sand and can stay there for days. Definitely give it a go with the veggies. I found zucchinI is the favorite of my snails. I think they will eat just about anything though.

Triple check the area around the tank. You won't believe how great they are at escaping- I have a snail who found his way out of my tank that has a lid. Thrice, within three days, before I figured out how the nerite was getting out-
through a 2 centimeter hole where the filter went in, in a 55 gallon tank. My water quality is perfectly fine, my other snails stay in the tank- this one just dislikes water, I guess. I have since snail-proofed the tank.

I have a 20 gallon with 7 nerites.... I think that's what put it, could have been 9. I occasionally spy one or two around, the other day I saw my favorite one that changed his stripes. Hadn't seen him for about 6 weeks. It's planted with a bunch of dw, caves and rock scaping. They're just doing snail things in snail places....

That said snails have a tendency to go exploring so if they get an itch and find an opening they slimer right on through.
