I stumbled across this site today while doing a search for a Giant Oto. I thought it could be handy for people trying to ID thier new aquisitions.

There are thousands of fish pictures sorted out by type & location. There is even listings for the three major rift lakes to identify the origin of individual species. A fantastic reference that I will definitley be using.

Thank you so much I have been trying to find the species of a fish my son bought for me 12 months ago (it was bought with some glow light tetras but in the last 12 months it has become four times bigger than the glow lights and very different) it is a beautiful fish and I wanted to get some more as it is solo and wants to school with both the glow light and neon tetras. It is a red fin glass tetra and I haven't seen a picture of it anywhere else. Much appreciation from a new member
