Look up Red Racer Nerites

Hey everybody.

Just found a newsletter in my email that was advertising red racer nerite snails. Well of course never having heard of such, I opened it to find it also had a picture attached. Wow! They are beautiful. I would post a picture, but I'm not exactly sure what all is allowed with links and pictures you haven't taken yourself. Just do yourself a favor if you enjoy snails and look them up! Wish they were sold in my area.

I didn't even look for a price. If I did order any, it'd probably only be 1 or 2. Which shipping itself would be crazy for. Not to mention their base price since they're apparently rare.

EDIT: So, just found a price out of curiosity. I swear, my breath caught in my throat. Over $12 a snail, plus shipping? I don't think so.

 

Does anyone have a pic? I really want to see what they look like!

Apparently, they got more. However, as mentioned earlier they're crazy expensive for a snail, and they're also not resuming shipping of any live animals until January 3.

I agree. I did just get my first tiger nerite though. I'm still happy with him, my little horned zebra, and my black racer (honestly don't know what happened to my other black racer). Especially after seeing the price for a single red racer. Lol.

 

Holy cow! $12.00 + shipping? Acck!!! That's way more than I would ever want to spend

I ordered 10 because I will be splitting them up amongst 3 tanks. Yes, I'll share pictures. And since my RCS decided they liked my water and bred like rabbits, I'll see if the blue ones do the same. Don't worry, no cross breeding the colors. The blue ones will go in a different tank.
