Platys for us.

My hubby breeds guppys so I would say guppys. but I like goodieds also. My Ameca splendens are really pretty.

I have had success with platys, so I'd vote for them, they are carefree, active, and colorful. Guppies are ok, but for some reason my water has not been kind to them.

if I had the space i'd get some mollies and platties too!
