Well guys and gals after staring at my live rock for hours and days I noticed something new I think its a hitchhicker I just don't know wut kind and I was hoping you all could help me identify it. I don't have a camera rite now so it my be difficult. But here's a breif description of it. There are 4 of them so far that can see but they are a velvet purple kinda color, about 1/4 inch small, they grow in a kinda swirly pile form(kinda like dog poop). It also has like a smokestack lid on it too. It sends out a little stringy thing that I think has stinging capabilities because when it touches my xenia it curls up. But when the stringy thing breaks it just produces another one. If anyone can help me identify these little guys then help would ne appreciated.

Oh, I've never tried that from a phone. I think you can upload your pic from your phone to Photobucket (or similar) and then link the image here.
