I'm looking into getting live food for my 2 inch Flowerhorn. Are there any feeder animals small enough for it to eat or should I wait until it's a little bit older?

Feeder animals? Like mice? Or brine shrimp? You do realize that there are many dangers to feeding your fish live animals right? No feeder goldfish as they carry many diseases!

Well since they're talking about a 2 inch fish I doubt they're thinking along the lines of mice and goldfish probably thinking more like live worms etc

Livebearer fry, fairy shrimp, fathead minnow fry. For livebearers, anything from platies to endlers, and personally I know my PetCo ends up with a lot and they often give them away for free.

Ahhh! You could buy some earth worms, live blood worms, fly larvae, etc.

Start bloodworm & daphnia cultures outdoors. If you want to use fish, don't use goldfish as they have almost no nutritional value. If you use fish, quarantine them for months.

If you want to feed him live food I would start breeding guppies. Other livebearers might get too big too quick. You can feed Bloodworms or blackworms as well, both can be cultured I beloeve bloodworms are easier. Earthworms from your own garden are another choice as well as mealworms.
