I was thinking about starting my 10-gallon to hold live food (feeder fish) for my sharks what kind of live food could a 6-7" fish eat, or do I need to wait until they get to be larger like say 9-10",

I think regular feeder goldfish should do. I would suggest using 2 tanks. THe first one would be a QT, the second a holding tank.

One thing I was wondering is what kind of more slender fish like minnows or something are there that would maybe go down easier then a larger fish like a gold fish

You could breed your own guppies.

I don't think your sharks will have trouble with the small feeders.

Whichever you choose, be sure to get a really high quality food for them. If they eat it and are eaten, then your sharks get the benefits of it.
