Sometimes you just want to let your betta hunt and mangle its prey.... okay maybe I'm odd lol but I need more live food ideas for him and hans. The thing is, jenks does not like brine shrimp and adopted the live ghost shrimp I gave him so other ideas please lol.

Mosquito larva I may be able to get. Fruit flies also, can't get blackworms without paying an arm and leg... couple fingers... hmm. Where do you get your cultures?

Mosquito larvae-outside
Fruit flies-petco has them. 7.99 for one. You can take about 50 of the flies and make a new culture with a jar and some fruit fly stuff(look up how to culture fruit flies).

My bettas love both.

You jut leave a bucket of dechlorinated water outside for a few days. When you see the larvae you take a shrimp net and catch as many as you need.

I have a kiddy pool I may just go ahead and do that with. my son hates it so it might as well get some use.
