Little white worms(?) on tank (I’m out of town)

So this morning i woke up to a video from my roommate, who has been taking care of my tank while im gone. Hes been feeding and managing the lights, along with testing the water when I ask.

The video shows these little white specks on the glass, moving about. He said he Google and thinks its a (non harmful worm) but!!! I want to get a opinion from the forum.

Heres a screenshot from the video. The things can twist their bodies and move smoothly

Those look like ditritus worms to me. They are not harmful. They show up in most tanks at one time or another. When you get home and do a water change, just do a good job vaccuming, if you use a gravel vac.

When they show up in my betta tanks, the young bettas hunt them and eat them, lol! Just another source of protein!

Relax. They all look harmless from the photo.he’s likely over feeding. Tell him to skip a day or twos feed.

None of them look like planaria ( triangle head ) just regular harmless worms.

Alright, thanks guys! Ill be home within the week, so ill be able to give a thorough clean then. Apparently my neons have been munching on them, so maybe theyll clear before i get there? Telling him to not feed tomorrow and to feed half the amount for now.

Also not feeding them will make them eat more worms! ;)
