Well, I honestly think it sounds more fun, and I since I would be doing it for meat, it’s easy enough to find good deals on turkey and such at the store (especially around thanksgiving), but not so easy to find steaks and such. Like even if you could find a good elk backstrap at the store, how expensive would that be?
no, I suppose not. I was more using it as a general. It’s easier and cheaper to get bird meat then beef or something. Buying a steak is a lot more expensive then buying a turkey breast (even if neither of those are exactly the same as what you get in the wild). To me, deer and elk and such are usually more worth my time. I might change my mind though! Perhaps I will try duck or grouse or something one day and decide I really like it and it will be worth it to hunt.

Uh... I think there is one only about a half hour away, but I’ve never been too it. I guess I’m more of the mind set that I would rather put that money towards a lift ticket to go snowboarding or a nicer violin or something, it doesn’t really sound fun enough to spend money on.

Potatoes are awesome. Sadly I can’t eat regular potatoes anymore, but I’ve been subbing with sweet potatoes (not real potatoes, but still good). I’ve been making some improvements, so maybe I’ll be able to have regular tatters again someday, I’m hopeful.
