List Of Oil-free Air Pumps & Compressors

At work, we use Danner's Aqua-Supreme air pumps and they have been leaking tons of oil into the water, causing all sorts of health problems in our fish. To show you that I'm not exaggerating, here's a picture of some airlines I removed after just a few days of use:

And this is how much oil got on my fingers just by removing them:

I thought it would be useful to make a list of air pump / compressor models that we know are free of toxic oil (and to list their air output and sound level, if we can). So here's to get the ball rolling:

I use a Jehmco brand (I know, relabelled) linear piston with no oil problems, and now, 14 years rock solid function. Great devices. A friend bought three big diaphragm blowers for his business the same month, a few bucks cheaper for each, and they were toast in 5 years.

Thanks! I added all of the Jehmco linear piston models to the list. I also contacted them to make sure their pumps are oil-free, so I might edit the list depending on what they say. If you want to point out the exact model you are using, I'll note your recommendation, too : )

[edit] According to Jehmco, every pump they sell is oil-free, so I've added the diaphragm models to the list.

I always thought that stuff was bits of the diaphragm that wore off.
