List of Fish Safe Veggies/Fruits?

Ive seen the usuals like ZuchinI and Cucumber. Ive also seen people give their Plecos occasional carrot and minI pumpkin. Just wondering if there are any others aside from the regulars. Any fruits that are safe and potentially beneficial for fish to eat? Also, other veggies that are outside the norm that are fish safe? Were doing lots of gardening, all Organic, non GMO and pesticide free. Would like to know what else is safe for fish as well have a lot on hand. Has anyone ever tried bell peppers? Id think these would be good for bringing out colors in some fish. Just curious as to what all everyone has tried aside from the normal ones.

Not really sure, my pleco LOVE cucumbers, left a slice in for a week, its almost completely eaten. Also, I have heard the water gets cloudy if you leave It in for more than 24 hours, but my tank is still crystal clear.
I have heard they like cantaloupe.

Do you guys usually poach, blanch, or leave raw?

I put it in raw, the warm water softens it quite quickly

How about fruits? Are there any that would potentially be unsafe? Id think to stay away from Citrus, although I remember seeing somewhere that someone gave their goldfish small pieces of orange and they loved it. Was wondering about things like berries, wondering if these could be good for immune health, blueberries in particular. Also banana, kiwi, apple, trying to think outside the box and see what people have had success and safety with.

Lettuce, peas. Paprika is added to fish food to enhance the fish's color.

I won't be adding anything like lemon to the tank, but I've been good with the three fruits most common around my house: apples, bananas, oranges.

I leave mine raw, my pleco destroyed it in one week! I like the garlic idea, my gouramis have a parasite I think. How do you give it to them?

Easiest and simplest way is to soak appropriately sized fish pellets in garlic juice to feed them.

I feed frozen vegetables. I put them on a bamboo skewers. So far I've fed green beans, yellow beans, carrot slices, squash slices. I've also fed leafy salad greens and salad mixes. All have gone down a treat. Carrot is especially relished by shrimp.

I'm glad I found this thread. I was wondering the same thing about fruits and veggies to feed. As far as the garlic goes, do you place a clove of garlic in? Mince it and put the smaller pieces in? Or just soak certain foods in the garlic juice?

Use a garlic press or a knife to crush fresh garlic and then soak your veggies in the resultant pulp.
